Leadership grounded in experience — technical rigour and practical business insight.
“We started Ravach to give businesses something we know they value: clear, practical tax advice from people who understand both the law and the realities of running a business.”
Thank you for visiting. Tax has never touched more of the decisions a business makes — how you are structured, how you invest and finance, how you trade across borders and how you engage with revenue authorities. Too often, advice arrives as a report that sits on a shelf. Our aim is the opposite: advice you can act on.
My own career has spanned professional consultancy and in-house tax leadership within a multinational environment. That combination shapes how we work at Ravach. We take the time to understand your business, we analyse the issues carefully, and we give you recommendations that fit your commercial objectives — then we stay with you as you implement them.
Whether you are setting up in Kenya, managing a complex cross-border matter or responding to an audit, we would be glad to help you navigate it with clarity and confidence.
Co-Founder & Partner, Tax Advisory and International Tax
Winnie Kimotho is a tax advisory professional with over 12 years of experience spanning professional consultancy and in-house tax leadership within the consumer and multinational business sectors.
Her expertise covers international taxation, transfer pricing, cross-border structuring, tax compliance, tax risk management and dispute resolution. She combines technical depth with commercial insight, helping businesses navigate complex tax environments while aligning tax decisions with broader financial and strategic objectives.
Before joining Ravach Consulting, Winnie held tax leadership and advisory roles at MultiChoice Kenya Limited and PKF Taxation Services Limited. At MultiChoice, she led tax compliance and advisory activities for Kenyan group entities, addressing matters involving corporate taxation, transfer pricing, customs, cross-border transactions and regulatory compliance.
Her experience includes assessing potential Permanent Establishment risks, reviewing financing structures, analysing effective tax rates, supporting Country-by-Country Reporting and strengthening tax compliance processes. She worked closely with finance and management teams to identify tax risks, forecast tax liabilities, evaluate commercial arrangements and incorporate tax considerations into broader business decisions.
Previously, at PKF Taxation Services Limited, Winnie advised local and multinational clients on domestic and international taxation, transfer pricing, tax structuring and dispute resolution. She developed transfer pricing documentation, conducted tax health checks, managed tax audits, supported alternative dispute resolution and represented clients in tax-related proceedings. Her experience also includes delivering tax training, contributing to business development initiatives and engaging with stakeholders on tax developments.
Beyond client advisory, Winnie has a keen interest in the relationship between taxation and economic development — particularly how African countries can develop tax frameworks that reflect their unique economic realities while supporting investment and sustainable growth.
At Ravach, she brings a thoughtful, analytical and solutions-oriented approach to helping businesses understand their obligations, manage exposure and make informed decisions in an evolving regulatory environment.
In one customs dispute, she challenged an assessment of approximately US$852,000, reducing the resulting cash payment to US$43,000.
Lilian Koskei is an investment and project finance professional with over nine years of experience advising on transactions across East Africa. Her expertise spans transaction origination, financial modelling, investment analysis, capital structuring, due diligence and transaction execution.
